Malnad College of Engineering has been recognized in the latest
edition of Careers360’s annual assessment 'India's Best Engineering
Institutions' 2024 issue. Our institution has been rated ‘AAA’ making
it one of the best engineering institutes in the country in 2024.
Institutions are evaluated and rated based on a comprehensive
assessment of their academic performance, faculty quality,
infrastructure, research output and student satisfaction.

The Institution Innovation Council of Malnad College of Engineering
has consistently performed well, earning a 4-star rating for the past
two years and ranking in the 101-150 band in the NIRF Innovation
Category 2022. As a result, the institute has been selected as a
Mentor Institute under the Ministry of Education's Mentor-Mentee
Scheme 2023, guiding five other institutions: Bangalore Institute of
Technology, Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology, Lal Bahadur
Shastri College of Engineering, and the Maharaja Institutes of
Technology (Mysore and Thandavapura). Key activities include
orientation sessions, design thinking workshops, quarterly progress
reviews, and feedback visits.
